About this tool
This tool turns one or more images into a single PDF, with one image per page. You choose the page order, rotate pictures that are the wrong way up, pick a page size and margin, and download the result.
Everything happens in your browser. The images are read and the PDF is built on your device, so nothing is uploaded to a server.
How to use it
- Drop your images onto the page, or choose them from your device. You can add up to 50 images of 25 MB each.
- Put the pages in order with the up and down buttons (or drag a row), rotate any image that needs it, and remove the ones you do not want.
- Choose a page size (A4, Letter or Fit to image), an orientation, a margin and a file name.
- Select Create PDF. The file downloads when it is ready, and you can use Download again if you need another copy.
Frequently asked questions
- Are my images uploaded anywhere?
- No. The images are processed in your browser and the PDF is created on your device. Nothing is sent to a server.
- Which image formats can I use?
- JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP, AVIF and SVG, as far as your browser can open them. Animated GIFs use their first frame. If a file cannot be read, the tool names it so you can remove it.
- How do I change the page order?
- Use the up and down buttons beside each image. On a computer you can also drag a row to a new position. Pages appear in the PDF in the order shown in the list.
- What do page size, orientation and margin do?
- A4 and Letter give every page that paper size, and each image is scaled to fit inside it without being stretched or cropped. Fit to image makes each page the shape of its picture. Auto orientation uses landscape for wide images and portrait for tall ones. Margin leaves 10 mm (small) or 20 mm (big) of white space around the image.
- Why does transparency in a PNG turn white?
- The images in the PDF are stored as JPEG data, which cannot hold transparency. PNG, WebP, GIF, AVIF and SVG images are drawn on a white background before being converted, so transparent areas appear white.
- Does it reduce the quality of my images?
- JPEG files are placed in the PDF unchanged, so there is no extra loss. Other formats are converted to JPEG at high quality (92%), which can change them slightly. A JPEG that relies on EXIF rotation, or that uses an unusual colour mode, is also re-encoded this way.
- How large can the PDF be?
- Each image can be up to 25 MB, a PDF can hold up to 50 images, and the images together can be up to 250 MB. The size shown is an estimate based on the files you added; the final size is shown after the PDF is created.
